Net Metering
Maximize your energy savings with our net metering services, allowing you to sell excess solar energy back to the grid and reduce your electricity bills.
Over the last Years we made an impact, we have long way to go.
At Ecosystem Technologies our culture comes to life through three core values:
- Energy Cost Savings.
- Energy Independence & Grid Support.
- Environment.al Sustainability.
Does net metering work with all types of solar systems?
Net metering typically works with grid-tied solar systems. If you have an off-grid solar system, net metering will not be applicable since you are not connected to the power grid.
Is net metering available everywhere?
No, net metering policies differ by country, state, and utility provider. You should check with your local utility company to see if they offer net metering and what the specific regulations are.
Do I need special equipment for net metering?
Yes, you need a bi-directional (net) meter, which tracks both the electricity you consume from the grid and the excess power you send back. Your utility provider usually installs this meter during the net metering setup process.
